Job Description:
WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS - DIGITAL, CORDLESS CHIP-SETS.
TRANMITTER PRODUCTS

Requires BSEE, MSEE preferred. 5+ years industry experience.
Experience in the design of RF active components utilizing FET and
BiPolar transistors. Expericence inthe use of RF design tools such as
Touchstone, Libra, and MDS. Experience in GaAs MMIC design and
layout, including familiarity with IC CAD design tools, such as
Cadence.
Knowledge of priciples and applications of electromagnetic simulation
tools is desirable. Experience in the use of standard microwave
instrumentation for active component characterization. Experine in
the use of PC tools for project planning and tracking.

Proposed Tasks:
Work on project team to develop the technology, device models, and
circuit design methodology for development of 3 V power amplifiers for
digital cellular and PCS subscriber systems.
Lead development of specific products meeting customer requirements
for low voltage power amplifiers.
Design GaAs MMIC chips, packaging and application boards for use in
those specific products.
Assist in development of an improved methodology for efficient
development of GaAs MMIC products through use of standard libraries of
active and passive components incorporated into all simulation of
layout tools.
Contribute to the development of accurate models for passive
components and packages through use of electromagnetic simulation
tools and experimental verification.

project team, get closure, and communicate effectively. Good
communication skills. Interested in a career move rather than another
