Salary: to $80K.
Education: BS Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
(minimum requirement).
Certification: CSP or able to achieve CSP within 3 years.
Experience: 5 years industrial (minimum requirement).
Established specialty chemical manufacturer seeks Process Safety
Engineer for PSM/RMP programs. Single site manufactures polyol,
amines, acetylene, MDI, EO and other products.Responsibilities
include:
- Manage and operate Process Safety Managment program.
- complete site PSM Responsible Care (CMA) Code.
- represent safey department on project reviews and HAZOPS.
Successful candidate will have 5 years experience in chemical
manufacturing environment, BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or
Industrial Engineering, detailed knowledge of PSM (minimum 1 year PSM
experience), knowledge of OSHA standards and excellent decision making
skills. Communication skills must be exceptional.
