Beach Youth League Coaches Needed

Hi,


As the start of another beach ultimate season approaches, please keep
in mind that this is also the start of the Youth Ultimate Beach
Season.
As you may know, the Youth Division of the Beach Ultimate League plays
at the same time and location as your regular beach league, with one
major difference . . .


Each week during the Youth Season (which starts one week later than
the regular season) the Youth Division holds a Skills Clinic from
9:30-10:00 a.m. before their games which start at 10:00 a.m.


For the Youth Clinics to succeed we have always relied entirely upon
the generosity of the Ultimate Community to volunteer to arrive early
and "coach-up the kids" for 30 minutes.


No long-term commitment is required since we only ask that you try to
find one week that works for you – nothing more. No season-long
obligation, just 30 minutes for one week. If you can make it more
than once, that is great too.


The Youth Season is each Sunday from Oct. 21 - Dec. 2 (not including T-
Giving weekend).


Don't worry if you've never coached or worked with kids before.
They're fun, it's easy and they mostly just work on basic skills. All
you have to do is show-up (lifeguard station 25) and we'll tell you
what skill the day is focusing on.


The key thing is, I need to make sure that there are at least 4-6
coaches per week.


So I am asking, if you can, to just email me in advance and let me
know which Sunday(s) you can help out. Feel free to send that email
now, or if you need to check your calendar check-in with me any time
during the season.


To make it a little easier, I may bug you again as the season goes
along if we are finding we need additional coaches.


If you can bring a friend or two or a teammate, that always is very
appreciated – hell, bring the whole team !
