Women's Hat Tournament and Skills Combine

Viva is hosting another ALL WOMEN’S hat tournament to kick off the club season and have a good time.

In conjunction with the hat tourney, we are hosting our third COMBINE. What is a combine, you ask? Why, it’s a combination of certain sport specific conditioning drills to determine speed, strength and skill level – meaning you’ll be quantifying your throwing accuracy, full field sprint speed, vertical jump, and Ultimate-related footwork to see how you stack up against the other ladies of LA ultimate! We’re hoping to do another combine later in the season where you can compare how much you’ve improved!

**Attention – due to field availability, the combine and hat tourney will now take place in the afternoon. Please see details below –

DATE: Sunday, April 13th

TIME: Skills Combine from 2-4pm, Hat Tourney from 4-7:30pm

LOCATION: Caltech North and South Field.  The combine will be held at the South Field (necessary to walk through the athletics building to get to the field/track) and the tourney will be on both the North and South fields.

FEE: A mere $10 when you pre-pay, or $15 to just show up. Please pre-pay your bid fee by PayPaling samant...@gmail.com – just make sure your name is in the subject line.

**Note – when paypaling, PLEASE DO NOT select the option that says “I’m paying for goods or services.” We will not get the full $10 that way.
