Despite the meetup being over in Santa Monica, I pushed myself to go.
I met a few ladies and saw a few friendly faces (April, Megan,
Evonne...all who happen to also be in my Transmedia LA group). There
was a pretty good turnout. Some real startups and lots of ladies
trying to figure out if they should/can do a startup.
Anywho sounds like the LA chapter of Woman 2.0 isn't going to be quite
the big deal as the one in SF. They are trying to do monthly get-
togethers so if you are interested, sign-up for their newsletters
which are actually quite useful.

But that's OK. April and I were kinda mocking these two guys that
showed up to the event and one of those guys turned out to be the
President of WITI (Women In Tech Int'l) - David Leighton. His Mom
started WITI and I guess he took over. We were chatting a bit and he
wants to talk more about doing some tech focused events together. I
explained that I didn't want to do the same old, same old, I want to
Build, and Learn and Do Cool shit. He has some pretty amazing sponsors
and he said we could pilot some things in LA (head office is in West
LA).

I'll keet you guys in the loop and once I understand better what he is
offering then we can do some brainstorming.
Yaay.
