Change is in the Air!!

Hello everyone,

Some changes are happening and they are all good!  Please spread the word and get ready to surf...

• Club Blue is no more... our new name is simply the La Paz Surf Club!
• We are doing away with this google group and upgrading to a Facebook group page.  Here is the address.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/surflapaz/ 
• Please spread the word and invite other La Paz students and parents to connect with us.  Please ask to join and I will add you.  Its a closed group for now so that we can share information just amongst ourselves.  Post photos, videos, inspiring links, and any other surf related information you want to!
• One of our founding fathers and supporters of the surf club, Jeff Herrman is going to kindly make us team rash guards.  These will be sold to us at cost, thanks to Jeffs kind support.  
• We need a new Surf Club logo... so I'd like to see if any of you want to give it a shot.  Post your logos on the facebook page and as a team we can pick the one that best symbolizes La Paz, surfing, and our culture!
• A new Scholastic Surf Competition is being organized and La Paz will have the opportunity to compete as a team against our local and regional schools.  Stay tuned for more information and the first dates of the circuito.
• Starting in November we are going to have regular surf mornings at Playa Grande and one weekend per month we hope to have a surf day as a community with mini competitions, bbqs, and gatherings at various beaches up and down the coast.
