La famille Addams (1993) - Sinopsis

Morticia et Gomez Addams sont les heureux parents d'un troisième enfant, baptisé Puberté. Mercredi et Pugsley, les deux aînés de la fratrie, voient d'un très mauvais œil l'arrivée de ce petit frère qui fait l'objet de toutes les attentions. En conséquence, ils décident d'un commun accord de le tuer, mais chacune de leurs tentatives se révèle vaine.

Afin de mieux surveiller leurs enfants, Morticia et Gomez font appel à une baby-sitter. Débarque alors Debbie Jellinsky (surnommée « la veuve noire ») qui est réputée pour se marier avec des hommes riches et les tuer de manière que l'on croie à une mort accidentelle afin d'hériter de leur fortune. Cette charmante jeune femme prétend vouloir garder les enfants, mais en veut à la fortune de Fétide, frère de Gomez. Elle est rapidement démasquée par Mercredi, dont l'aversion envers la gouvernante se trouve alors justifiée. Afin d'écarter tout soupçon de Morticia et Gomez à son égard, Debbie fait envoyer Mercredi et Pugsley dans un camp d'été, avant de convoler en juste noce avec Fétide, qui l'aime vraiment.

Cependant, les deux enfants comptent bien s'échapper de leur camp de vacances pour sauver leur oncle, tandis que Fétide survit aux diverses tentatives d'assassinat de Debbie, au grand désespoir de celle-ci...

Hasard du calendrier ? Non, certainement pas. C'était ce jour où l'on célèbrait Halloween 2020 qu'Universal Pictures avait choisi pour révéler les premières images de son film d'animation "La Famille Addams 2 : une virée en enfer". Et après ce premier teaser, c'est dorénavant une bande-annonce qui est révélée.

Et, cette suite des aventures de la famille la plus macabre du monde sortira au cinéma quelques jours seulement avant Halloween 2021, le 13 octobre 2021.

Une fois encore, le timing était parfait, alors que quelques jours auparavant on apprenait que Tim Burton pourrait prochainement produire et réaliser une série télé centrée sur Mercredi Addams dont le scénario serait signé Alfred Gough et Miles Millar, les créateurs de "Smallville".

La Famille Addams est née sous la plume du dessinateur américain Charles Addams en 1938. Depuis, ses personnages ont inspirés plusieurs films, séries télé et même une comédie musicale !

Mais, Gomez, Morticia, Mercredi, Pugsley et Oncle Fétide n'ont fait l'objet d'un film d'animation qu'en 2019. "La Famille Addams", en version dessin animé, était sortie au cinéma le 4 décembre dernier.
