The Foundation is official!!!

corporation! We walked our paperwork through The Secretary of State's
office on Friday and received our certificate! The next step is to
get 501(c)(3) status from the IRS! This paperwork should be filed by
the end of the month. We are already recognized as an official Non-
Profit according to the State of Missouri!
We now have our Tax ID Number from the IRS and opened our business
bank account with Regions Bank! Travis, the branch manager at Regions
in Clayton, was WONDERFUL to us! Look him up if you are in need of a
new bank, he really goes above and beyond and made the process
seamless!
A business phone line has also been set up. If you have any
questions, concerns, want to volunteer for an event, or have a
suggestion you can call our office at 314-766-0560 or email us at

More exciting news... Meetings have been set up for the next couple of
weeks with Hope Happens and The Brain Injury Association of Missouri.
We want to make sure we work with the right people to achieve our
mission and vision with the foundation. We will be learning from
these different organizations and hope to work mutually to help
advance the field of TBI.
DONATIONS FOR THE L6 FOUNDATION ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED! If you would
like to make a charitable donation to the foundation, please send your
check made payable to The Laura K. Laughlin L6 Brain Injury Foundation
(or L6 Foundation) to PO Box 308; Grover, MO 63040 (Please, include
email address for record keeping purposes). We will have a credit
card donation option available when the website launches in a matter
of days!
