Subject: [WikiPasifica] free wiki skills training for Community Media /
Radio practitioners, Nov. 3-7, 2008
Hi Everyone,
We have an upcoming free wiki skills training for Community Media /
Radio practitioners from November 3-7, 2008. Please do forward this
note, if you think others might be interested.
Please register at:
http://www.wikieducator.org/Learning4Content/Registration
~ you are welcome to invite your colleagues and other interested folks
~ there will be some great networking! (We have a very strong
contingent of 10-15 Caribbean CR practitioners).
This is an online course which I will facilitate. You will need about
30-45 minutes a day, and the course will give you the skills to create
and edit your content on WikiEducator, and collaborate with your
Community Radio / Media colleagues.
You will join more than 6000 users of WikiEducator. This training is
sponsored by the Commonwealth of Learning and the William and Flora
Hewlett Foundation ~ the largest wiki skills training initiative on
the planet.
Also, do take a look at our Community Media <http://
www.wikieducator.org/Community_Media>space on WikiEducator -
we'vealready developed materials for everyone to use and share.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Warm regards,
- Randy

Not all all, Alfred. We are working across the Commonwealth and beyond and the last online training had over 20 different countries. You work as you can and while you sleep, we work, so you might have a delayed response, but nothing major as we are trying our best to react to queries immediately.
Warm regards,
Patricia
