Updating to C32 2.5

Hi,

I was just wondering are there any plans to update L32 to conform the
C32 2.5 specification? And if so, is there any time frame as to when
that would be?

Hello Mike,

There are no current plans to update L32, although the project would be happy to accept external contributions.

On a related note, implementing C32 version 2.5 can be a difficult prospect. I was working on doing so a while ago in Laika and ran into some conflicts with templates used by the HITSP C83. You can find a description of the situation here:

I don't know if this issue has been addressed yet, but it is a pretty major bug in the spec if it still exists.
