Sup, figured any lurkers here might be interested in this. Anyone trying to use the l1j-jp 3.63c server files will likely notice that there's significant differences not just in the table names used in l1j-en but the columns as well. 

I wrote a script to run all the Korean csv files through google translate, then another to merge the existing l1j-en translations with items that already existed. This was far from foolproof as it was lazily written and I'm sure some bugged out names/notes occurred, but it's seems quite playable. 

The end result is most items, npcs, etc being in english with just the very new stuff having wonky but in most cases acceptable google translate translations.

IIRC it definitely ended up with some misleading note columns in certain tables due to the way they were merged, but nothing that affected the gameplay.

Thanks i'll take a look at it when i get the project im working on done.

I found another Japan server that seems pretty upto date. I'm working on converting it over now to english. Got the database converted but some translation errors and some lines too long errors to fix. Working on the source code conversion now.

Will post it all to github when its in a usable state.

Cool, I'd definitely be interested in checking it out. I've actually come across that site before too; didn't realize they had server files. Really wish I could use the L1Viewer tool shown there. Not sure if it would work with the 3.63 client I have but the link has been dead for some time anyway.
