Ihave upgraded to Windows 11 on a new laptop. I have a PIXMA MX450 and am trying to download a printer driver. Is this the same as the PIXMA 452 as I don't see MX450? I am a senior citizen and not that tech savvy so I hope someone can help. Thanks.
One thing is certain. Printers do not always port over correctly after an operating system upgrade. I suggest that you remove and fully uninstall the device (first), then restart and attempt to install the printer under windows 11 as John suggested using the MP drivers package available for W10.
Since your printer may not be supported on Windows 11, we recommend reaching out to our Canon Upgrade Program specialists to review your options to get you into a more modern printer at a discount. That team is available by phone at

Windows 10 drivers are very likely to work fine in Windows 11. The two operating systems are not that different under the hood. It seems to be a pervasive misconception that Windows 11 obsoletes printers and other devices whose "support" ended with Windows 10, or even Windows Vista, 7, and 8.
