Hi Prashant,
You only need to download one. We  provide both Cloudera and HDP examples because Kylo is frequently installed with both of these products.

Cheers,
Jeremy

Thanks a lot for your kind reply. I am able to login to sandbox using root/kylo but I do not see any browser. I learned that I need to locally open the url to access kylo but on the sandbox I am not able to find ip address to point.
please help

Prashant - You can go with the default option upon VM boot. The Kylo UI runs on port 8400 by default. So, you will need to open up that port in VirtualBox so you can access Kylo-UI running inside VM from your local machine.

For the Kylo sandbox, this is already set for local 8401 -> VM 8400. So, you should be able to access http://localhost:8401 and get to Kylo UI in the VM.

Thanks.

Hi Prashant,

The Kylo sandbox will automatically make the correct selection if you don't change it. Otherwise you can select the first option.

After you get to the screen that says "Welcome to the Kylo sandbox", please wait about 10 to 15 minutes for it to finish starting. Then you can open the following url using your local computer:

Hi Prashant,

Since it's not working, please try executing these commands in the Kylo sandbox:
service nifi start
/opt/kylo/start-kylo-apps.sh

Hi everyone,

This thread helped me tremendously-- thank you.

The HDP download did not work for me-- after waiting 15 minutes and going to http://localhost:8400/login.html, nothing happened. I assumed it was a firewalld/ip/port issue, and googling led me to this forum. Learning all about centos 7's firewalld did not solve my issue, but using the cloudera download instead did the trick!

best,
Sam
