Food Friendly Municipalities: A Policy Advocacy Strategy for Waterloo Region
Dear Krista,
Our policy advocacy strategy is ready.
We want you to join our campaign to help increase awareness about the importance of temporary farmers’ markets and community gardens to provide more access to fresh, healthy food in our cities.

Food issues are hot right now! The City of Kitchener created new rules for food trucks to "provide a variety of food choices" within the city. The City of Waterloo became the first to endorse the Region of Waterloo Food Charter.
Let's keep food issues on the radar as we head into the fall municipal elections.
