The new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) concerning commercial electronic messages requires that we have your consent to continue to send you the full range of email updates about gardening and food-related matters in the community. Under this legislation, coming into effect July 1, 2014, consent is required to send an individual any email of a “commercial” nature. That means, even if we want to tell you about a seedling sale, gardening class etc. etc., (even if it’s only a $5 gardening event!), we need to have consent from you to do so.
