Are people transplanting their seedlings themselves? Was there going
to be a second planting (or transplanting) event?

Also: when should we start going to the Northdale plot?

I've been starting seeds at our place that I intend on sharing with
Urban Harvester. I've got some sweet peppers and hot peppers on the
go, some corriander too. I also will be clearing some raspberry from
a friends garden I am working on, would we like to transplant some?
It would be great to have a work day at the northdale plot soon! Prep
the beds, plant some peas, etc. When are people available?

Adam Kramer has kindly allowed KW Urban Harvester to join in the GROW transplanting workshop on:

Saturday, April 23rd, 1-4pm

79 Lancaster St. E.

I hope this date works for most people. I have been collecting coffee cups from the office to use as planting containers. Does anyone have other suggestions of containers that we could use and where to get them?

I have been in touch with Students Offering Support, and they were only available to help out on a few dates, so I referred them to the GROW project. They mentioned that they were willing to help out with some work in June or July, so hopefully we can coordinate a date that will work for everyone.

I think raspberries would be awesome.

Maybe we could schedule some meeting times during the replanting
party? That seems easier than planning online. Maybe people who won't
be at the event could email Valerie with the times they can and cannot
make a day at the Northdale plot.

Or we could set up a Doodle.

I think that planning some times to meet at the garden plot during the transplanting event is a great idea. I will suggest this to the announcement list and suggest those who can't make it email me - thanks Paul :)

I can't make it to the workshop. I am available most days before
5pm.
