Hi, I love to have a lot of open tabs in my browser. But they take a
lot of memory and the browser get slower. So I've done a Bookmarklet
that takes the current favicon, the current url and the current title
and generates a document on the fly that is very slim.

I'd like to take one step further and see also a screenshot of the
site. I would take an API that makes screenshots of URLs, then I'll
convert the image generated to a chunk of base64 encoded data URIs. So
I'll have the screenshot integrated in the link but without loading
any external resource.

I hope I've explained it clearly. I've thought that your service is
perfect for this because is very fast taking the screenshot. I've seen
the API link in your website, but no luck: that is not really an API.
I'd like to know if is it possible to get an API entry point (URL)
that accepts a URL and returns a URL of the screenshot (ideally within
a JSON object).

Thank you very much for your comment.

We have offered a set of APIs for a fee, which enable developers to
grab a screenshot of a web page and manipulate it. A free version is
under consideration, and we still need a time to decide it.
