Hey folks,

I want to make sure you all know about a fundraiser we've got going on right now (just heading into the second week of it) called G20 Reading Week. Basically, we've got two fantastic independent publishers on board who are going to donate a portion of the profits they make from November 13-26 to our G20 Support Fund! This money goes directly to those dealing with the legal fallout from the G20, helping accommodate for their bail conditions, legal fees, and other demands of the system.

So visit http://g20readingweek.2010resistance.ca, check out the publishers' book lists, and stock up on some reading materials for yourself or your loved ones! You can also win free books by spreading the word on Twitter and Facebook! Read about that here: http://g20readingweek.2010resistance.ca/node/10

We'll be wrapping up Reading Week with a book launch on Friday the 25th at 7pm at the Rum Runner at Queen & King in downtown Kitchener, for the book Whose Streets? The Toronto G20 and the Challenges of Summit Protest. You can read more about that here: http://g20readingweek.2010resistance.ca/node/17

Welcome to G20 Reading Week(s) 2011 - A Fortnight of Literary Resistance

Critical to our struggle now is education. We need to educate ourselves, our families, colleagues, neighbours, and communities about the issues that brought us into the streets of Toronto and about the ideas that inspire us to create a better world. Thankfully, this task is not so difficult--there is a wealth of literature on all of these subjects readily available to us.

During the Fortnight of November 13-26, your purchase of books published by PM Press, and Between the Lines Publishing will see profits going to the support fund. when you place your orders with either publisher, just make sure to leave a comment with "G20 Reading Week" to ensure we meet our fundraising goals.

Every day we will be showcasing a different author or book, from the wide libraries and a number of communities will be hosting G20 Reading Week events, so check the events listing for one near you, or host one yourself!

Stock up on reading material yourself, or pick out some radical gifts. And you can always donate directly to the legal fund if you're feeling particularly in the spirit of solidarity!

in sol, Sol, SOL!
