Sr. Product Marketing Manager

One vacancy, Waterloo

Reporting to the Manager of the Toolkit Product Marketing Team, the Sr.
Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for helping ensure the
success of MKS Toolkit through technical, marketing, sales and business
development activities.

Marketing:
With a view to strategic product positioning and growth in the
marketplace this person will conduct market research and monitor product
performance through all sales channels to ensure strategy and tactics
are continuing to contribute to the product revenue objectives. This
person will liase with the Product Manager, the Business Development,
OEM and Direct Sales and Marcomm to ensure market requirements and
expectations are met. Will assist in developing ‘plus one’ marketing
strategies to attract new audiences for the MKS Toolkit technology.
Will participate in ‘evangelizing’ the Toolkit product line in both
written and oral form.

Sales:
Support various MKS sales channels in the form of technical sales
support at large client sites with direct sales, VARs or Systems
Integrators. Also includes the fulfillment of speaking engagements at
major events and conducting MKS Toolkit product seminars. Assist with
OEM partnerships, including contract negotiations and site visits.

General:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a solid
technical background combined with sales and marketing experience. This
person will have the ability to interact with Senior Executives in a
boardroom setting as well as with a software developer on a trade show
floor. This person will represent MKS Toolkit both internationally and
domestically and will require approximately 50% travel.


Qualifications:

· University degree
· Technical background through formal schooling or related job
experience and training
· 3-5 years sales and/or marketing experience
· Excellent communications skills (oral and written)
· Ability to interact with all levels of a corporation
· Self starter with a can-do attitude
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform, and react
well to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
