Fwd: Report - Dialogue on Making Agriculture Sustainable in Punjab & Haryana

In continuation of its venture to establish ecological agriculture in Punjab and to evolve an pro-nature and pro-people alternative paradigm of development the Kheti Virasat Mission has organised a One-day Dialogue to evolve a cross-section collective understanding and action plan about way-forward for Ecological and Sustainable Agriculture in this part of country. Dialogue was jointly organised with Organic Farming Association of India and NITTTR on 25th August 2014, at NITTTR in Chandigarh.
The Round Table sought to look at the various emerging experiences in Punjab and Haryana and in other parts of the country on scaling up of ecological farming, based on which, sought to create an Action Plan implementable in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal.
I am very thankful to all those had participated in this dialogue. Please find report and recommendations of dialogue. We shall be happy if you can give your comments and suggestions to evolve a further action plan.
