First of all, congratulations to all conscientious citizens who have been a part of the struggle against Bt brinjal on the announcement by Jairam Ramesh for a moratorium of two years on introduction of the dreaded crop.
At the same time, let us not be lulled in a false sense of security, as the likes of Monsanto will not let the gold pot named India slip out of their hands so easily. Next time they will be more prepared for the fight.
So will we.
We are considering it a reprieve of two years. Let us use this time window to organize ourselves in a better way.
To discuss the further course of action, we will meet at Lajpat Rai Bhawan, on Wednesday, 10th February at 5:00PM Sharp.
