Subject: Altogether Better - Arts and Crafts Training Course

Dear All

We still have a few places available on the Altogether Better Arts and
Crafts training course starting this Friday 15th January at Highfields in
Huddersfield.

The course will be a run by a friendly and experienced tutor from Kirklees
College and will give people the confident to create quality arts and crafts
to be proud of.

The course is aimed at people who works/volunteers with in a community
setting;

people over 55
people with learning disabilities
people with mental health needs
people with physical or sensory disabilities
carers

I have attached a leaflet that has full details of the course.

If you would like to attend this course or know of anybody that would,
please contact me on 01484 225142 or at gemma.j...@kirklees.gov.uk

Kind regards

Gemma

Erm...

Last time I checked, the Batley college of Art and Design was part of Kirklees College, so why isn't
it encouraging disabled people and those who work with them to learn with people who aren't disabled
in mainstream courses? I think I know the answer...
