Dear Sir,
As all of us are aware, the current academic year has an extended winter break. A group of parents would like use this opportunity to organize an Athletics Training Camp in the school for the children of the KV-IITM in the age group from 6 – 12 (Classes II to VII). Mr. Dileep, who has a wide experience of training children in athletics, has kindly agreed to conduct the camp. The timings would be from 7-9 am, from 31st Dec 2012 to 13th Jan 2013. The number of children would be limited to ~ 30, and a nominal fee will be charged from the students (~ Rs 300 per head).
As discussed in the meeting this morning with you, in the presence of Prof Sujith (parent representative in charge of sports activities) and Mr. Dileep, I would request you to kindly give the necessary publicity for this program in the school. Kindly make the necessary announcements in the corresponding classes, and get a provisional registration before Wed, 19th Dec 2013.
The PTA representatives (myself and Prof Sujith) would be available after the School Annual Day on 20th Dec 2012 at 4 pm, in the school premises to collect the registration fee and to answer any questions the parents may have. Kindly also circulate this information on email to the corresponding parents.

We strongly believe that this humble beginning from us would help us go a long way in increasing the sports training activities in the school, as discussed in the PTA Executive Committee meeting held on 24.11.12. Looking forward for your kind co-operation in this connection,
