Preparations are progressing well for the Carol Service that will be held on 12th December at the Karen Blixen grounds and we thought it would be good to try starting to pin down the ways home groups, Bible Study groups, Mens and Ladies groups could sign up to help.

 

Currently we have the following in place:  

•Welcoming team: NFL

•Registration & tickets: Simon & Martha’s HG

•Sound - Allan & Team

•Electricity - Phillip (local electrician) we need a team of helpers for him

•Children's entertainment - Tom

•Mulled wine & nibbles - Graham & Lulu Roy (Lime catering) 

•Music - Cathy Sampson

 

We still need help with the following

 

•Set up and clear away teams - this is basically a few people willing to help set out some tables and chairs, put candles and decorations out and doing a bit of running around. The clear away will be to collect all rubbish bags in and take down equipment.

 

•Some people to help with catering - just being there to help out, serve and move around

 

•Electricians and handymen - small group of people to get there early on the day to help move equipment to the venue and assist in set up of sound and lights.

 

•Some people to help supervise children's activities - there will be people there but extra hands needed.

 

•Encourage others to be a presence - this is a great opportunity to reach out into our local community and to get alongside people and to invite people along. 

 

Please encourage members of your group to get involved and let Chris (chrisa...@gmail.com 0787 470 642) know how you can help.
