We are pleased to inform you that our Economist Program (EP) vacancy for 2015 is open. Although we are unable to visit you this year, we would be grateful if you could share this information with your eligible students.
· IMF Economist Program (EP): please see the IMF EP Website. The EP 2015 is posted HERE as vacancy # 1400842. The closing date is November 14, 2014. The EP is an entry-level program for talented, recent PhD graduates in macroeconomics, finance, public finance, monetary economics, international economics, international trade, poverty issues, political economy, or econometrics who are interested in pursuing a career in international economics and finance. It is a 3-year program specifically designed to enable participants to quickly gain operational experience. To be eligible for the EP, candidates must be recent PhD graduates or would complete a PhD within a year (or less) of joining, and be available to join on a full time basis on September 8, 2015. A PhD in a field such as macroeconomics, finance, public finance, monetary economics, international economics, international trade, poverty issues, political economy, or econometrics would be most relevant. and further develop macroeconomics expertise.
· IMF Internship Program (FIP): please see Fund Internship Program (FIP) Website. The vacancy will be advertised on December 1, 2014. Our internship program runs every summer, with the next intake starting in June 2015.
