KV OSD 2.3 - OSD Issue

Hi,

I have noticed 2 anomalies with version 2.3. I am using the MinimOSD w/ KV team Mod V1.0 board.

1. The heading graph displays the characters "KV" (instead of "N ' E") when the heading is between 248 and 359 degrees.

2. The OSD will crash when I scroll through all of the Items (get to the last Item and it loops back to the first item) on the Screen Position page (8) or it will crash when I first go to the Screen Position page (8) and highlight the Item then scroll backwards (yaw left). When the OSD crashes, the screen is filled with random characters.

thanks, did you cleared your eeprom prior new 2.3dev installation?

OK, I am not sure but I do not think that this issue could be an hardware problem...

What are you using exactly on your FCB?

As I said before, I can not reproduce this issue neither see other reports like your´s from other users at this time...

We will try to understand and fix your setup, don´t give up on it ;)

PS: let´s try something out... please reset your CALL SIGN to other then default and save. Check and report!

I reset CALL SIGN etc, no luck.

I'm using the Naze32 Rev5 running firmware version Afro 32 CLI Ver 2.2.

Everything else works real nice, and to be honest I can live with the heading graph character mapping issue. No biggie. The heading degrees value is correct so I guess data coming from flight controller is good?

I replaced the MinimOSD with other brand new board (from witespy). Exact same problem. Seems I'm not the only one who has had this issue:

same problem here. ive used at least 4 boards, all have the same problem.  i cant help but notice it says "KV" - i kind of think it's on purpose.  anyway, something is with the character mapping.  i have too many other little bugs to iron out right now, but ill be following this thread!

About the page 8 crash issue, try this:

1) In file config.h at line n. 8   "#define MAXSCREENITEMS 27" change  with value 26

2) In file KV_Team_OSD.cpp delete the Whole line n. 227  "#define MAXSCREENITEMS 26 // 28 w/ GPS alt & Temperature" as this line is duplicated.

Recompile and reload it in minimosd.
