Hi guys,

I have just installed 2.2 release. Everything works fine except:
-Throttle % is inacurate: when stick is at idle position, OSD displays 42%
Is is possible to calibrate this?

-Switch OSD is not working. It has been declared and working in MWii gui but it's seems it's not recognized by the OSD.
Is there a specific parameter to enable somewhere?

Thanks for the amazing job!

Hi Arnaud,

thanks for trying it out and for your contribute to this cause friend :)

Throttle issue you are experiencing is not a common issue!
It is automatically calibrated and there is no way to manually do it... We will try to figure it out together with you.

Please post detailed information about your setup and MWii version, we will try to reproduce it in order to fix or point you in the right direction.

Cheers,
-KV

EDIT: the same with OSD Sw. We will figure what´s wrong ASAP.

Hi,
OSD switch is a known bug now using the GUI simulator board, it should work fine using your TX thru MWii.

Cheers,

Hi KV,

OSD SW issue happens with both simulator and FC.

Regarding Throttle %, it happens with FC only but Im not using latest Mwii version.

I am using a custom version on a custom FC:

This version is based on mwii 2.2.

Hope this helps.

btw, here's a vid of the OSD connectd to FC.
Throttle never goes under 42% - stick at idle position:

Hi Arnaud,

thanks again, I will be able to check this only after new year.
Please try to experiment with a official MWii version 2.3 for example, maybe is a bug on the ported MWii version.

Cheers,
-KV

I'm having a similar problem where the throttle is not being detected, and the OSD is not updating armed/disarmed states. I've cleared the EEPROM and reloaded the firmware but no change. It worked briefly when I first installed it and stopped working at some point. I'm also having trouble where the OSD can see the GPS, sattelite counts and coordinates, but will not update distance to home or update voltage until I reset the board. It will then show the current voltage but will not show voltage drops until the board is reset again. In all cases except the throttle and armed state the data will update after a reset until it stops working again 5-10 minutes later.

I have another minimOSD on the way in case it's a hardware issue, but I don't think it is, since the GPS is detected and the flight mode switch will sometimes update immediately after a reset. I'm running the latest Baseflight from Jan 2014.

Ignore my issue. User error.

I had the telemetry feature turned on in baseflight, thinking it was required for telemetry data to be sent to the KV OSD firmware. It's not.

It turns on FrSky telemetry which interferes with the datastream to the the KV OSD and causes corruption. Turned it off and all is well.
