Managed to get a HK OSD up and running with 2.2 firmware against MWC 2.3 and everything seems to be functional. Impressed with the development that has gone into this, well done !

But the OSD text is not clear, its really hard to read on a monitor and impossible to read via fat shark's (base model). Have seen many online videos which show clear and easy to read text compared to what I am seeing. (sorry don't have a video recorder)

The Fat shark video also flickers and OSD characters are displaced, this flickering is not happening on the monitor. Using a video splitter that has adjustable gain, works fine without the OSD connected.

Any suggestions as to what could cause this? Assume its hardware related.

The issue was caused by low quality video from the camera. Was using a Fatshark 420 Line CCD which had a decent picture but swapped it out for a GoPro 3 and all the OSD fuzzy text issues disappeared. The GoPro AV out image is amazing compared to the fatshark CCD.

Must have been noise from the CCD that made it hard for the MAX to overlay the text on.
