Hallo,

Hab Kurviger schon neu
installiert, hat aber nix gebracht.

(Bei Calimoto funktioniert die Navigation
einwandfrei also liegt nicht am Handy bzw. GPS)

Hi Lukas,

Thanks for the report!

Do you mean that your location on map is not updated in the app?

Do you have other map apps active in the background simultaneously, that could confuse the readings?

Navigation works with location updates from GPS sensor, satellites usually report new locations per second.

So apparently you should have the GPS enabled in your device.

Where do you have your device placed, inside pocket or else?
(in order to be able to communicate with satellites)

Also have you enabled the "Kalman filter" option in app Settings > Map ?

Yes, the location does not get updated, it stays at the starting position.

There are no other gps apps active.

gps is on of course and there is no difference if it is inside my pocket or outside.

Kalman Filter is off

Calimoto and google maps are working well in the same conditions, if kurviger isn't working and I just switch to Calimoto it's working every time, so no gps problem.

It seems like everything works fine until I start the navigation and drive off, then the app doesn't recognise my movement, as if the gps signal says I'm still on the same place.

Never seen such strange behavior. :)

Above you mention that it worked in the car but not on the bike?

What zoom do you have on map, are you much zoomed out so the map movement cannot be seen easily?

Can try turning off some options in app Settings > Navigation, like the "Snap to route" and the Beta "Orientation support" ?

Yes, it worked in the car when I tried it once, because I wanted to see if it works when I try something differently, but later on the bike it didn't work again.

I'm not zoomed out so I can't see the movement and even if it was like that I should hear when I have to get on another road.

I tried if it works with a gps faking app and this worked fine right now, but I had to change the locationing setting to just use the gps and no wifi and so on, I will try if it works tomorrow, hopefully this was the problem.

Thank you for your fast help, I will get back to you if changing the settings didn't work

Just make sure that don't leave any fake gps app running in background - which doesn't permit the gps sensor to update the location! :)

BTW how do you use the navigation?
Do you start it and leave the screen on or start it and turn off screen or push app in background (no exit!) ?
When navigation works in background should see an active notification like in image.

I changed the location settings of my phone from "best accuracy" to "only gps", now everything works fine.

Thanks for your help
