Kann der Routenführungspfeil vergrößert werden?

Hallo
Erstmal ich finde die APP sehr gut, die Routen sind gut und einfach zu erstellen. Aber leider bin ich Brillenträger (Weitsichtig) deshalb kann ich ohne Brille Motorrad fahren, nur ich kann den Routenführungspfeil der oben links in der Ecke positioniert ist nicht richtig sehen, Meine Idee den Routenführungspfeil in die Mitte und wesentlich größer. Ich bin der Meinung dass man dann noch genug von der Karte sehen kann.

vielen Dank für die Anfrage. Wir werden prüfen ob wir an der Größe bzw. Positionierung noch etwas verbessern können. Das Problem ist hier, dass es viele verschiedene Displaygrößen, Ausrichtungen, etc. gibt und wir versuchen müssen eine Lösung für alle vorhandenen Displaygrößen zu gestalten.

Könntest du uns vielleicht dein Smartphone Modell bzw. Displaygröße und Auflösung mitteilen?

Ich habe ein LG G3 (5,5"), es ist halt ungünstig ganz oben links in der Ecke, wenn mein Handy in der Tasche am Motorrad dann ist dieses Fenster n der Ecke sogar noch teilweise abgedeckt.

Klar ist es mein Problem, aber wenn das Fenster mit der Richtungsangabe oben in der Mitte angebracht wäre könnte es wesentlich größer sein und schneller Ablesbar. Was der Sicherheit entgegen kommt. Wie schon in meiner Anfrage es war nur eine Frage, ob das geht und das wäre meines Wissens auch die einzige Handyapp die das dann so machen würde.

Hallo ich bin jetzt auf ein Motorradnavi TomTom Rider 40 umgestiegen da ist der Routenführungspfeil besser zu erkennen. Er ist oben mittig, schwarz hinterlegt, der Text in Weiß und der Pfeil kräftiges Blau. Auch das könnte noch etwas größer sein (Platz wäre).

Aber dennoch, die mit Kurviger erstellten Routen sind gut.

BTW in Kurviger settings can select the "Dark" application theme (my favorite) for easier reading.

Thanks Robin, online there is always the Google Play app to check its images.

There are many different navigation UI, OsmAnd has a different layout.

It depends on user preferences and how much info should show on screen, e.g. where place the long street name, etc.

Ich bin der Meinung dass diese Größe noch auf das Display passt, auch wenn Handy Quer angebracht ist könnte der auf einer Seite sein. Landkarte ist dann immer noch ausreichend Sichtbar.

vielen Dank für den Hinweis. Im Querformat könnte ich mir das sogar vorstellen, dass man quasi seitlich eine komplette "Info Leiste" hat. Interessante Idee, danke :). Im Hochformat finde ich das keine gute Idee. Tendenziell würde der Pfeil einen Teil der zukünftigen Route verdecken. Da sehe ich mehr Nach als Vorteile.

Hallo,

Ich bin kurzsichtig, aber ich habe des selbe Problem wie Dieter. Durch die Vergrößerung der Schrift auf 200 ist es aber besser geworden.

Von mir aus kann das Feld mit dem Pfeil und der Entfernungsangabe gerne links oben bleiben. Mein Wunsch wäre nur, dass es die Option gibt, dieses Feld zu vergrößern.

Wem es die Karte zu sehr beeinträchtigt, der kann es lassen wie es ist, wer es größer braucht, kann es größer machen. Bei meinem S7 im Hochformat bleibt noch genug von der Karte zu sehen.

Ich hoffe, es ist nicht zu schwierig, dass zu implementieren...

Hi Robin, first of all thanks for the fantastic app, 

I see that I'm not the only one that has a problem to see the instructions on the screen, I also can't see the arrow and other information when driven

I will make some suggestions that maybe can make a big difference for me and probably for the many requests concerning the visibility of the app on the screen.

Now I use "Free GPS Navigation" by Sygic (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.aponia.bor3) this app has a HUD (head up display), this is very visible when driving,

My question is if it is also possible to add something like this in your app? Maybe there is also the possibility to split the screen, on one half the map and the other half the info in a high contrast.

Thanks very much for the kind words and your work for the suggestion!

We have exactly that in mind to offer in future versions, a more prominent and large HUD for the navigation. :)

In the meantime have you checked app Dark theme (Settings / Application / Application theme)?
It changes also navigation panels to dark background for more visibility.


I'm working now on intelligent "Auto zoom" navigation feature and afterwards will review the navigation HUD.

I've purchased and used  the navigation yesterday when riding in the mountain curves.

Unfortunately the on my S7 the navigation is unreadable when phone is mounted above the dash of my bike (especially when its a vibrating V2)

I would say the easiest option is make everything 2x bigger, and a small note: forget about the Street name in the nav screen. Most of us, drivers do not have time to read the names (on the screen or on the street signs). Moreover those signs are not available in most interesting locations outside big cities where we look for the twisties! Other option will be to hide/show it in the options.

In my opinion one of the best navigation GUIs is in the calimoto app. High contrast white on black (no transparency !) is perfectly readable in split second while riding (and easy to interact w. gloves in necessary)

HERE looks good. Please keep the amount of information to minimum or at least make it configurable.

And as for accessibility, I have checked for myself and my phone is about 80 cm from my face when driving. To check the screen I have something between 1/4 - 1/2 second time (depending on the speed and amount of road bends)f . So while evaluating final design please make sure you can read the screen easily and quickly:)

Another thing, not sure if it is an application or data problem: sometimes while driving through the villages the app shows that I need to follow the road for lets say 10 kms and then turn right. But there is a lot of intersections , junctions , Y-crossings and some of them are not go-straight (main road turns left on the intersection) which creates lot of confusion when driving.

Is there any way to improve it ?

Regarding turn instructions, those are generated by the routing and are passed to navigation system.

We can discuss better all these in new forum and Robin can have a look at them.

Please provide also a Kurviger link with a route example so that is easy to check.
