to Kurt's TNT Winter Ride 2008
Mac Shelley is the first person to donate. Thanks to him, I am
obligated to make good on my delivery of the Solvang century ride.
His commitment is my commitment.
Cheers! Mac
Today (1/25/2008) it rained all day. I went in to sports basement to
demonstrate the mysterious creak in my Fuji Team Pro Carbon. Ryan and
Gino listened while I road the bike on the indoor trainer. And then
they heard it, the mysterious creak. So, after 3 rebuilds of the
bottom bracket, its time to replace it with another one. Hopefully
this will solve the problem. The next step is replacing the pedals.
So, with all this crappy rain, I get to use the indoor stationary
bike. I may post some pictures of this fun. Ride for tomorrow has
already been canceled by the coach. With heavy rain expected tomorrow,
there's no chance. The team is aiming for a sunday ride. Here is the
excerpt from the team manager:
For this Sunday 1/27, weather permitting, meet at the Farmers
Insurance parking lot in Pleasanton/Dublin for a 50+ mile ride. The
website calendar is updated with location directions. Coach Cyd is
working on ride map. If the ride is a go, please RSVP in the website
calendar so we can get an idea of how many can make it this Sunday.
We did part of this ride before (and it was raining then too!). This
is not an easy ride.
