Publishing an Android or iOS app requires a Kurogo commercial license. See 5th paragraph:

See my last response. To distribute your Kurogo site as an app requires the commercial license. If you just want an empty app that points to your web site then that's probably better suited for an Android development forum.

Ok, all i want is that my users be able to download my site as android/iphone app and see the icon on the screen  wich automatically leads to the home page. then they can see other modules, if they are connected to an internet network.

I'm new so please bear with me. So you may use Kurogo to develop your site as much as you want but if you want to publish it, then you have to pay, correct? If that is the case then, what part of Kurogo is "open source" and "free"?

Thank you.

The part that allows you to build the site and deploy it as a mobile web app (through an address like m.yourschool.edu). You can do that today, for free.

As I said earlier, if you use AppQ within Kurogo to build a native app then you need a commercial license from Modo Labs (the creators of Kurogo). As it states on Modo Labs' site:

"Publishing AppQ™ based iOS and Android apps to public app stores requires a commercial license upgrade."

If you just want a web site wrapper around your mobile Kurugo site that can be done on Android and iOS, but don't expect Apple to accept it into the store; they are likely to reject it – see this PhoneGap page on the subject:

Google Play will allow it. A tool like PhoneGap (http://phonegap.com/) or Titanium (http://www.appcelerator.com/titanium/) can help you with this.
