I'm trying to use svp with stereoscopic player without success. I've followed the wiki and added the ffdshow Video Decoder and LAV Video Decoder to the Decoder filters in the Stereoscopic Player Settings but when I try to play a video SVP says its still waiting for ffdshow and when I check the video properties in the player the ffdshow/lav decoders aren't listed.
made changes to LAV Video Decoder....it shows icon when using Media Player Classic....doesn't show up with stereoscopic player
SVP works fine with MPC...just not stereoscopic player
I've emailed the dev for stereoscopic player regarding why ffdshow filter isn't being loaded...haven't heard back yet.
the configuration is to 100% as shown above but svp wont check in...
can anybody give me some help with that?
my system is windows 10, the stereoscopic ist the newest licenced version, i have also installed mpc, zoom player max and splash pro...
hardware is the skylake intel 6700k and my graphic card ist the silent nvidia 750ti with 2gb ddr5.
Wish I could help but I could not get it to work in SP either and then it stopped working on all the other players non-3D ... I did get a brief glimpse of what the software can do when it is installed correctly, the results were amazing. But I am not a computer hobbyist, I am an end-user and I am the kind of person who needs something they can just install and it works without spending hours trying to get it to work .. for that, I would pay 20 euros, I think. Good luck on the project, it has great potential! I will check back later in hopes that one day there will be a simple consumer version.
but I have not be able to make HD3D works: When I try to activate it in PowerDVD19 or stereoscopic player, the projector change his video mode and the software crash or just return to 2D. Also tried with Trine, it also try to activate HD3D but at the end just go back to 2D.
Il still managed do use frame packed 3D to the projector, only with stereoscopic player using Microsoft DirectX quad Buffer or OpenGL Quad buffer. The problem is that quite no mainstream software is using DX or OpenGl quad buffer. It's a bit buggy and sometimes the projectors goes in a wrong 3D mode.
I recently came across some Matlab code to output a 3D graph as a stereoscopic left/right .JPS file, viewable e.g. with 3D Media Viewer, Stereoscopic Player or using any 3D television or beamer: -matlab-save-stereo-3d-image/
Mathematica code to produce the two stereoscopic images for the left & right eye is given here, here and here, so the problem is only how to combine and export these as a .JPS file? The analogous export to3D PNG, .PNS would be cool too.
With the glasses in dual monitor passive mode (no Nebula and dual mode activated via long-push on lower-brightness/volume button) there is nothing really operating system dependent that needs to be done: your media player just needs to paint into the two adjacent display in full-screen at the proper aspect ratio.
Hello,
For the Panasonic and probably LG models, apparently it is possible to display the stereoscopic images that are converted to the MPO format. MPO format is used by Fuji sterep camera W1 and W3. To convert your image to the MPO format, you can used the free program StereoPhoto Maker. Then you save this file on SD card to be play on the TV. Because I don't have a 3DTV, I have not tested myself the procedure. If you have access to a Panasonic 3DTV, just try before. If you have another TV model (Samsung), you have to use a computer connected to the TV via the HDMI 1.4 cable. A player program such as Stereoscopic player is also necessary.

Computer-based solutions are well suited for capturing and playing stereoscopic video content at high quality, because the constraints of TV standards need not be obeyed. We developed an application called Stereoscopic Player to play stereoscopic videos. Based on Microsoft's DirectShow, it can handle all major video sources, codecs, stereoscopic layouts and viewing methods. Usability was an important goal in the application design; several features simplify handling of stereoscopic videos. To free the user from choosing the proper settings, we introduced the concept of stereoscopic information files and an Internet-based service for automatic configuration. The Stereoscopic Multiplexer is a solution to capture stereoscopic content within applications compatible with WDM capture drivers. It takes frames from two 'real' capture devices, synchronizes them and passes the resulting stereo pairs to the application. If the cameras support numerical control of camera parameters, Stereoscopic Multiplexer also synchronizes these parameters. Supporting resolutions up to high definition and a wide range of devices, Stereoscopic Multiplexer and Stereoscopic Player are universal, affordable solutions for stereoscopic video recording and playback.
