Hi,

We are using the IceLink libraries from FrozenMountain for our C# WPF WebRTC clients which currently uses their WebSync Server for signaling and creating P2P channels and would like to use Kurento as an MCU to allow for Multi Point conferences.

Are there any pointers to examples on how we can get our C# applications to connect to and use Kurento as the MCU and Signaling server?

Any help would be appreciated as my knowledge here is quite limited.

Hi,

Sorry, but there is no C# example. In any case, it shouldn't be difficult for you to implement the Kurento protocol, and control KMS through the websocket connection. The different flavours of Kurento Client are just implementations of this protocol.

Just one clarification, Kurento is not a signaling server. That role is played by the nodejs server or the spring-boot app, dependning on the tutorial you are looking at.

Thanks Ivan, We can use WebSockets in C# so that should help us.
