Record to a matroska container file (.mkv)

Hi Kurento Team,

I would like to ask if there's a plan in your road map for implementing support for recording video and audio to a matroska media file container(.mkv)

I know it's suppose to be just a few lines of code.

There is no plans to support MKV, but PR are welcomed.

I see there's no running from implementing this feature in our company and share a PR for the rest of the community.

Let's say we will implement support for .mkv, send a PR and you accept it, will you include our changes in the next version?

By the way, are there any plans for a new release soon?

We will publish a new version in the following days. We hope it will be ready the next week.

If you create a PR supporting mkv with updates to the doc and so on we will accept it and publish a new version with it.
