Hi,

I have seen that somebody have implemented a native ios (apprtc based) to kms solution.

Somebody will be so kind to share the code?

I need to stream video/audio from iphone to a kms server to record it.

Thank You

Did anybody get back to you regarding this?

I've found a few cocoa pods that can provide some basic sample code, but the frameworks aren't compiling due to errors in the WebRTC static libraries...
It kind of brings me to a dead end at the moment.

Hi,

1. Sure lot of people are using Kurento with ios devices. Would anyone be kind enough to share pointers to some code which compiles and runs?

2. If not public, please send me private message and I know a company who will be willing to sponsor the cost of the code.

3. Last but not the least. Why do we need to build webrtc libraries when using cordova. Does Cordova use apple browser or does it ship the application with chromium brower. If chromium browser, should the webrtc library be already built? Sure I am missing something here but would be good to help.

Thanks,

Vikram

There is a non-official ios SDK for Kurento that has been created as part of the NUBOMEDIA research project (http://www.nubomedia.eu). You can find information here:

This SDK supports both the Kurento Room API and the Kurento Tree API. It also supports a simple JSON-RPC oWS signaling protocol compatible with most of Kurento demos.

For completeness, NUBOMEDIA has also released an Android SDK with similar characteristics and full interoperability with Kurento

Best regards.

Thanks Luis for the pointers. I am going to look into this to see how this can work with the basic tutorial of Kurento - one2one calling.

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi,

Did you ever get this to work? I'm trying to use kurento-ios, but the documentation isn't the greatest and I can't get it to work. Sample code would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Simon
