Hi, I'm running your javascript demos using Bower and the http-server npm package as described in the readme. I'm using Ubuntu 18.04, Node 10.15.3, and Firefox 84.

bower install
http-server

When I load the page in the Hello World example, I get two Javascript errors:

1) adapter.js is not loaded (appears to be an invalid path to the file in the bower package, I can fix this with a symlink)

2) "getUserMedia is not defined". It appears there's no loaded file that defines this function that is references in kurento-utils.js

This seems fundamentally wrong so I may have overlooked something. Any ideas why this isn't working for me?

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

Regarding the getUserMedia is not defined, Please check from which object you are trying to access the getUserMedia. Please try to update as per this reference. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MediaDevices/getUserMedia

Thanks!

Hi,

There is no object tied to the function call. I thought it might be attempting to access navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia(), but it is referencing some imported function by that name. I believe this is caused by the bower bundling process.

Looking at the kurento-utils github, it should be referencing navigator or navigator.mediaDevices, but the compiled script is just incorrect. Can anyone reproduce this error based on the latest repo?

Please recheck with the latest version (6.16.0), or better yet, with the latest master. We did a release the past week, and I realized several wrong settings in the tutorials, which should now be fixed, so I think everything should be back to normal now.

For one I'm sure the Node.js Hello-World tutorial works fine, because I've been using it for some quick tests during development.

Regards,
