Foreign Hands Art Centre associated with Kurdish Cultural Centre
present a
film screening "A moment with women's suffering" on 13th march 2010 at
the
Kurdish Cultural Centre, 14 Stannary Street, Kennington, SE11 4AA.
Event is to celebrate the International women's day and the first part
of
the event will be screening of 4 short films and Q & A sessions and a
lecture of composing music for films by famous Kurdish musician Salah
Rawf.

In the second part of the event will be a screening of a feature film
directed by veteran Kurdish film director Shorsh Qadir who will be
there
from Netherland to talk a about difficulty of filmmaking in exile.
Doors will be opened at 4.00pm and the event will be finished by
8.00pm.
There will be light refreshments served. Please feel free to bring a
guest
along.
