Raila to Contest Uhuru's Win in Court
Kenya's Opposition Leader, Raila Odinga, will move to the Supreme Court of Kenya to contest Uhuru Kenyatta's win
in the August 8 Presidential Elections. Raila has termed
IEBC's declaration of Uhuru's win as "computer-generated" - "Vifaranga vya Computer". Raila's Court Petition will cancel Uhuru's swearing-in ceremony at Kasarani Stadium on August 29th, 2017. The Supreme Court must decide on the petition by September 5, 2017, according to Kenya's Constituion. If the election results are upheld Uhuru will be sworn-in on September 12, 2017. If no winner is declared a run-off election will be held on November 7, 2017. In the meantime Uhuru continues as the President of Kenya.
