Land Development Engineer / Project Manager 

Location: Chantilly, VA Onsite (100% In-Office)

Employment Type: Full-Time

$60/Hr

We are seeking an experienced Land Development Engineer / Project Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong land development engineering and project management experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage land development projects from planning through design and construction.

Prepare and review engineering plans, reports, specifications, and construction documents.

Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal project teams.

Ensure projects comply with local, county, and state regulations.

Oversee project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality standards.

Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance as needed.

Support permitting, entitlement, and development approval processes.

Maintain strong client relationships while ensuring successful project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience in Land Development Engineering and Project Management.

EIT / Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred (if applicable).

Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, utility design, stormwater management, and local development regulations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
