Reg: Monthly salary paid to Maid

Dear All,

This is to bring to your notice that my maid is asking for a rise in her monthly salary to Rs 400/-(per job).Also, she was saying that salary of many other maids is also increased to Rs 400/-. This is second rise in this year from Rs  300/- to Rs 350/- and now 400/-. I currently refused to do the hike.
Please let me know if you all are ready to make this increase or not so that the amount paid to my maid is in parity with others.

Dear All,

 

Yes, even my maid has requested this 2 days back on the same lines that other maid’s salary has been increased. As rightly said below, just 3 months back we have increased from Rs 300/- to Rs 350/- per job and now again increase. Even I am against in increasing the hike. In fact, would suggest that we should avoid any interim irrational hikes, unless situation so demands.

 

This will also help in keeping maid salary in parity across “Kumar Picasso” so that none of the maids take undue advantage.

Hi All

Even I have faced the same issue and has refused my maid. There is no point in giving such frequent hikes.
Let's be firm on our stand and do not give in to any irrelevant demands.
