Mashiki Castle Ruins Tour and Lunch

Hello Kumamoto,

There will be a walking tour of the Mashiki area and the Mashiki Castle ruins on Sunday, February 28. There will be some talk about the history of the Mashiki area and the castle. It is being run by a local community group in the Mashiki area. If you attended the International Friendship Festival last November, you will remember that they had a table and were actively promoting international participants for their tour.

The tour will run from 9AM to 2PM, with check-in by 8:45AM at the Mashiki Town Office. Participation is free and lunch will be provided (cooked by members of the Mashiki community group).
