Linux Demo Room

Hi,

for the KansasLlinuxFest.us on march 21/22 at the lawrence, lib we have gotten lots of feed back from younger people and beginners who would like to know more about Linux.

at the makerfaire KC we had a booth setup with different pcs running linux and showed people some different distros.

So i would like to invite you all to consider if you have some computers you can bring for a demo day to show off your favorite linux program. We will set them up in the extra meeting room on saturday

and have a space for people to try it out. If you want to bring a live cd/dvd to distribute that would also be nice. We can setup a burner booth as well like we did and let people burn them. That would need someone to watch over it. Anyway these are some ideas.

let me know if you want to help out, we are also looking for some help for the conference. We are going to need more staff to help run things. Also we are looking for some extra places for some guests to sleep.
