Just an FYI in case anyone is interested. A week from this Friday (Oct 20th) I'm going to be giving a presentation on behalf of my company at the newly-refounded ACM chapter of Kansas City. It will hopefully be interesting.
The KC ACM chapter is now being run by Derek Moore and Scott Kahler, who some of you will know. I'm going to be presenting on how industry trends have moved away from pure single threaded performance and are now focusing on aggregate performance and efficiency - and how companies like mine are adapting to these changes and finding ways to innovate.

It's at the FanThreeSixty offices in downtown Kansas City on Friday, October 20th at 5:30pm.
