 We hope you are managing to stay safe and keep well this summer. With the restrictions around the campus and the city itself, KUFSA is going to work on connecting International students and programs provided by KUFSA and sponsors through online, as well as offline with managing safety measures. Hello!!

We are GEP (Global Education Project). We invite you to join our international friendship program for Japanese students. GEP is a collaboration between LbE Japan and International Students of Japanese Universities around the country.

We are "Global Leaders", fluent in English (no need to be native), NOT English teachers. English is not our goal but just the tool we use to communicate with each other.

Through LbE's workshops in English (from half-day to multi-day camps), we become ambassadors of our countries.

By sharing our country's culture and lifestyles with high school and middle school students, we aim to help Japan become more globalized.

GEP is a part-time non-regular job opportunity. Our leaders can apply to our monthly programs in Japan based on their own schedules.

Each program's team is selected based on different criteria (based on requirements for each particular program).

So after the recruitment period ends, and a couple of weeks before each program, we select the team and send out the confirmations.

If for some reason your schedule changed, you can cancel at this point with no problems.

If you're still available and you can prepare within the timeframe, you confirm and start getting ready.

 

Notes:

As the GEP's leaders' participation is compensated, any candidate must have a valid working permit or permission to do activities other than primary resident status activities (資格外活動許可) in Japan, a bank account and "My Number".

 

Compensation:

1-day program: ~8,000yen

1.5 day program: ~15,300yen

The payment is made through bank transfer on the 10th of the following month of the program. Transportation cost is reimbursed. Food and accommodation are provided in case of multi-day programs.

In order to have access to our recruitments, the Leaders must be registered in our system. To be accepted in our system, they are approved by an online interview and presentation they prepare for the interview.
