Happy Holidays from KUFSA
As the year 2020 approaches its end, we would like to thank all the individuals who have continued to support us as KUFSA.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this has been an unprecedented year with restrictions on most campus activities for most of the year and as such, we were unable to organize most of our numerous events which have brought so many international students together throughout the years.
As much as the current KUFSA team was excited to organize and hold events for our international student community, we had to put the safety of everyone before anything and thus had to cancel a lot of our plans. Although this was a difficult year in a lot of ways, we still believe it was not a total waste and we hope that we were all able to stay healthy and keep up with our studies and research.
With the new academic year coming up, KUFSA will also be continuing its activities and a new team will be looking for ways to contribute to the lives of all the international students at Kyudai and our friends in this new environment of coexisting with COVID-19.
Such a team requires a good leader and as such, we would like to officially announce that Junghwan Kang will be serving as the next KUFSA president for the 2021~2022 tenure.
He is an Undergraduate Student at the School of Engineering from South Korea and he has been serving as a diligent KUFSA officer for the past 2 years so some of you may be familiar with him already.
He is excited to take this position and is prepared to tackle any problems that he might face so we thank you all in advance for your continued support as we head towards this period of transition.
