Dear Students,

We hope you are doing well and healthy. This message is to introduce an online symposium event regarding the atomic bombing that occurred 76 years ago in Nagasaki. Event is organized by International Student Center, and the following is the message from them.

This message is from Professor Higo at Kyushu University International Student Center. In part to celebrate the nuke ban treaty entering into force this year (just in 10 days), we have organized the following online, international education event:

Kyushu University Global Peace Symposium (Zoom Webinar)
Commemorating the Nagasaki A-Bombing, 75 Years Later
January 23 (Sat) 18:30-20:00 Japan Standard Time
https://www.kyushu-u-peacesymposium.com/
Please let me strongly encourage you all to attend this important online event. Please also help us get out the word about this event to your members, friends, and others.
This event is open just to anyone across the world, students and professionals, and online registration is required via the website. The attendees will, nonetheless, have a chance to discuss directly with Mr. Yoshiro Yamawaki, the main speaker of this event who is a survivor of the Nagasaki bombing in 1945. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity for many of you concerned about global peace.

I hope many of your members and friends will find this event important and interesting. Please feel free to let me know should you have any questions.

Best regards,

Prof. Higo
