Hello,
My name is Quinn Ried and I am the Outreach and Diversity Coordinator at the Dole Institute of Politics. I would like to let you know about a couple events coming up that I think your group would likely be interested in.
On Thursday, November 3, 2011 we have a Pizza & Politics event from 12:-1:15pm in the Parlor ABC room on the 5th floor of the Kansas Union. Author Bryan Welch will be discussing sustainability and anyone who comes can get some some free pizza. As with all of our Pizza & Politics events people are free to come and go as needed.
Later that same day, at 3pm at the Dole Institute of Politics, Mr. Welch will discuss his latest book, "Beautiful and Abundant: Building the World We Want." It is a practical and unconventional guide to true sustainability. This event will include a book sale and signing.
Let me know if your organization would be interested in coming to or participating in either of these two events.
