[11.10]-Permanently Disable Monitor Power Management?

Hi,

I backported kubuntu 11.10 64Bitto KDE 4.8.

The only issue I have is that I can't seem
to disable monitor power management?

How would I permanently disable monitor power management?
(trying to set it off in using system settings in menu has no effect)

Try setting the values to something like 480 minutes before they kick in
:-) . (I had to set mine to 180 - and I don't even have a laptop!)
