[non-urgent]
[xp] can we go further with bazel to 7.0 since we want bazel module support?
[bc] 6.5 has some kind of module support
[bc] will need to see whether it’s easy
[bc] go bump is very important
[bc] rules_proto is deprecated but there’s lots of deps
[xp] suggestion to maybe drop the generation by bazel which might solve a couple of errors on the way
Look at flakes
flake stats - create issues accordingly
dequarantine tests:
look at list of quarantined tests
count: tests in quarantine currently
check status, i.e. who is working on those
look at PRs that want to fix flakes
see whether we can dequarantine tests
compute
[fossedihelm] https://github.com/kubevirt/kubevirt/pull/13484
doesn’t seem that someone is actively working on dequarantining
[dh] revisit the PR where the removal of QUARANTINE vs. periodic, bring it up next session
misc topics
[bc] issue with image publishes since moving to rules_oci
Increased size of images
No multiarch manifest
security scan seems to yield low prio issues
q: since these are coming from the base image, how come we haven’t seen them before?
probably due to old rules might be incompatible with how the scanner works
options are
revert the bazel pr or
fix forward
[fossedihelm]
this will delay the beta release planned for today by one week
will send an email
[xpivarc] use dive to inspect the image layers
Action items
update/create issues with latest flakes spotted
communication
send meeting notes to kubevirt-dev, bcc sig people for spotted flakes (include meeting changes for upcoming instances)
Kind regards,

I would appreciate it if we could land https://github.com/kubevirt/ci-health/pull/96 to filter out optional jobs from these stats as things are being misrepresented at present.
Did I also see that we plan to generate these stats per branch to help us separate release branch specific issues like we've seen recently?
